Important information about your stay

In order to answer a few questions you have in advance, we have compiled and worked out the most important points that are relevant to your stay with us.


1. Application
Contact your specialist. This will determine whether there is a medical need for a treatment and will fill out the application together with you. Enter the “Badener Hof" as the desired contract facility. The form is sent to the insurance company.

2. Authorization
If the cure is approved, you and we at the “Badener Hof” will receive a declaration of cost coverage from the respective insurance company. Only from this point on can we accept your appointment requests and will endeavor to implement them depending on availability. The amount of the deductible is also stated on this letter.

3. Invitation
After approval, you will receive an invitation letter from us with your arrival date. Changes can only be accepted for medical or professional reasons.

4. Arrival
On the day of arrival, come to the reception to check-in. Here you will be welcomed by our reception team and given initial information about your stay.
Any excess required by the insurance provider must be paid in cash at reception on the day of arrival.


Checklist for your stay at the Badener Hof health and spa hotel

In order to be able to start your GVA, cure or recovery stay relaxed, we have put together a checklist for you to bring with you so that you don't forget anything important.

Written documents

  • Photo ID
  • E-card
  • Current medical documents (if available)
  • Findings, X-Rays, ECG, Findings about possible food intolerance or allergies, diet prescriptions
  • Medication listing
  • Invitation letter and approval from your insurance company
  • Completed doctor´s questionnaire

Medical items

  • The currently prescribed medication (which you need for 3 weeks)
  • The currently prescribed orthopedic aids (walkers, crutches, corsets, support stockings, …)
  • Medical devices currently in use (blood sugar machine, blood pressure machine, …)

Clothing, Personal items

  • Gymnastics & swimwear
  • Tracksuit
  • Rain jacket
  • Sufficient clothing & underwear
  • Slippers & bathing shoes
  • Shoe horns
  • Sports shoes (optimally waterproof)
  • Skin lotion
  • Bath towel & bathrobe (for a rental fee)
  • Toiletries
The first day
  1. Arrival
    10.30 a.m. - 12.30 p.m.

  2. Check-In at reception
    Clarification of parking space, payment of the deductible and parking space, receipt of the therapy card

  3. Nursing admission interview
    Short care discussion (please bring the completed doctor´s questionnaire with you here)

  4. Room key
    You will receive the room key at the hotel reception

  5. Medical examination
    (possibly only on the 2nd day)

  6. Therapy classification
    Following to the medical examination, the therapy manager will create a therapy plan for you

  7. Welcome
    Welcome by the hotel manager & tour of the house at 01:30 p.m.

  8. Instruction in the restaurant
    Explanation of seat allocation, meal times & sign-out, allergens, meal plans, etc.
Therapy rules

In order to ensure that therapy runs smoothly and that appointments are adhered to at our hotel, we have put together the following therapy rules for you.


  • Please stick to your appointments exactly!
  • Be in the waiting area 5 minutes before the start of therapy!
  • No jewelry during therapy!
  • Absolute ban on cell phones!
  • If you don't show up without a good reason, no replacement date is possible!
  • Please take your findings with you to your first individual therapeutic exercise session!


  • Show up for water therapy in swimwear! (additionally bring along: bathrobe, bath towel, bathing shoes)
  • Please wear a bathrobe for massages!
  • We recommend comfortable clothing for all other therapies!
  • Please use the in-house therapy towels to rest on the therapy tables!
  • We ask you not to wear street shoes or clothing in the therapy rooms!
